Smooth order, nice clothes

I decided to try Groceries Apparel after reading about their plant-based dyes. Ordered an Avocado Pit Dyed Tee and some Sustainable Sweatpants. The ordering process was straightforward on their website; I found what I wanted easily. Shipping took about a week, which was perfectly fine, and everything arrived well-packaged. The tee's color is subtle and unique, not like anything else I own. The sweatpants are really comfortable and soft. I had a quick question about washing instructions for the dyed items, so I used their online chat support, and they responded pretty fast with clear answers. Quality seems excellent, and the fit of both items was true to size. Overall, a positive experience and I'm happy with my sustainable choices.

Consistently good quality

This is my third or fourth order from Groceries Apparel. This time I got a Vege-Dye T-Shirt and some Organic Cotton Underwear. Their quality is always reliable; the fabrics hold up well to washing if you follow the instructions. Shipping took about 5 days to reach Denver this time, which is typical. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and their non-toxic approach is important to me. Never had issues with sizing either.

Good value with the discount

I was looking for some new basics and saw Groceries Apparel pop up. Signed up for their newsletter and got 15% off my first order. Picked up an Organic Cotton Leggings and a Recycled Cotton Tank Top. They feel nice, and with the discount, it felt like a solid purchase for quality sustainable clothes. Shipped pretty fast too.

hey y'all, thinking about grabbing some of their leggings but i'm always between sizes. do these run true to size or should i size up/down?

I found the organic cotton leggings to be pretty true to size. I wear a small everywhere else and their small fit great.

Hmm, I think it depends on the item. My t-shirt was spot on but I sized up for a hoodie to get that comfy, oversized feel. For leggings, I'd probably stick with your usual.

Can you use more than one discount code at a time? Got a sign-up bonus but also saw they have a free shipping over $75 thing.

D Derek Vargas 2 months ago
Pretty sure it's one code per order. The free shipping over $75 is automatic though, so that'll just apply if your cart hits that amount. The sign-up bonus would be your actual 'code' you type in.

Nah, they definitely only let you use one coupon code. I tried to stack a percentage off with another one once and it wouldn't let me. The free shipping is usually a threshold thing not a code.

Does anyone know how long shipping usually takes to, like, New York City? Need a new top for a thing next week.

L Laura K. 2 months ago
Mine usually gets to the East Coast in about 5-7 business days. Might be cutting it close for next week if you order late.

Yeah, I'm in Philly and it's typically around a week, sometimes a bit faster if you catch them early in the week. They ship from LA so it's a cross-country trip.

How do these compare to Mate the Label? I like Mate's stuff but always looking for other sustainable options.

R Ryan Torres 3 months ago
I've got stuff from both! Groceries Apparel feels a bit more structured for basics, if that makes sense? Mate can be super soft but sometimes a little thin. Groceries' colors are also really unique because of the dyes.

Totally different vibe, I think. Groceries is more about the plant dyes and unique textures from that, while Mate focuses a lot on classic organic cotton loungewear. Both are great but if you want something truly distinct, Groceries wins on the dye front.
